Worship Arts Ministries

      Welcome! The Chapel Worship Ministry consists of several teams, including the Worship Team (singers, band, & tech crew), Drama Team (actors, writers, directors, stage crew), Choir (under the direction of Rick Brohman), the Instrumental Ensemble, and the Chapel Woodwind Quintet.

      The Worship Team consists of three groups of people: the singers, the instrumentalists, and the tech crew. We use a team of 3-4 vocalists each week.   Our worship band normally consists of piano, keyboard, drums, and bass, acoustic, and electric guitars. We have a tech crew of five people which handle front of house sound, audio/video recording, computer graphics, camera operator, and house/stage lighting.

      The Chapel Drama Ministry is made up of a group of talented actors, writers, and directors. They present dramatic works as needed to enhance sermon illustrations or to promote different events to the church and community. Because of our limited stage space, dramas are presented on video (DVD format), which has its advantages and drawbacks. However, it allows the actors, directors and production team to present a topic much more completely than if it were live on our existing small stage.

      The Chapel Choir, under the direction of Rick Brohman, has approximately 40-50 voices and rehearses each Thursday evening from late August through mid-June. They share a varied repertoire in the services on a regular basis and present special events at other times during the year.

      The Instrumental Ensemble plays on occasion and varies in size and instrumentation depending on the needs for a given Sunday. Ages range from high school students through adult, and it is open to all who have had at least four years formal training in a school orchestra or band.

      The Chapel Woodwind Quintet consists of a flute, oboe, clarinet, French horn, and bassoon. The quintet plays a standard quintet repertoire at various times in the year. Invitations to audition are given on an “as needed” basis.
